Wood mask, 'Bringing Good News'

This work from Robanty Limited depicts a Ghanaian linguist, symbolizing the bearer of good news. Artisans carve the mask from sese wood, as brass plates complement the rounded features and contrast against a finish of black polish. He names it Nana kasa means "speak, my king."
